Valentines Day

I know that Valentines Day has come and gone, but I haven't had the chance to blog about it yet and it was a pretty awesome day so I wanted to blog about it. First of all, since we were going on our cruise just a few days after Valentines Day, we figured we didn't need to spend any money or get each other anything for the holiday. So when I woke up on Valentines Day, I wasn't expecting anything. But to my surprise, I woke up Valentines morning to the smell of syrup, french toast, and scrambled eggs. Steve doesn't really ever cook so it was awesome! Then as I climbed out of bed, I noticed that there were little pink sticky notes every where as I made my way downstairs to the kitchen.

Steve had written things that he loves about me on these little pink stinky notes and put them all over the apartment:) I'm usually not a cheesy, lovey dovey, kind of a girl, but I just kept finding more and more notes and I will admit, it feels REALLY good to be loved! I'm pretty sure I was just smiling from ear to ear:)

We ate breakfast and then Steve headed to work. I did the 12 days of Valentines leading up to Valentines day for Steve and I was planning on writing him love notes of all the things I love about him for the final day, but after he completely surprised me and did that for me, I felt like it would be kind of lame for me to do it too. So I decided I would buy him just a little present to go along with my love notes for him:)

Is it really sad that the only thing Steve ever wants is bullets or shooting stuff? I may or may not think it is. But at least I always know what to get him to make him happy:)

Steve thought that I was just copying him with the love notes, so I had to assure him that I had already been planning on doing that for at least 12 days prior to Valentines day:) haha

He got me some beautiful orange roses. I don't know why, but I just love getting flowers, so I was a VERY happy girl:)

We went to dinner at Cafe Rio and then came home and watched a movie. It was a REALLY AWESOME day, and I must admit that I'm loving Valentines Day more and more every year! Most of all I just love having a smoking hot husband to share the day with. He really is the best husband I could ever ask for and I love that I get to hang out with him every day for the rest of my life. He makes me laugh every single day and I really do love him more and more each and every day! Thanks for making Valentines Day so awesome babe. I love you:)
