Bahamas Cruise:)

Right after Christmas we decided that we wanted to plan a vacation to somewhere warm during February or March so that we would have something to look forward to during the months of January and February because Steve and I both HATE the winter time. We had to take into consideration that we are really poor, but we wanted to go somewhere we had never gone before. Neither one of us had ever been on a cruise before and you can get some pretty good deals on cruises, so we decided to go on a 5 day cruise to the Bahamas! We had a blast and it was so great to get out of the cold and get some much needed Vitamin D:)

Cruise Day 1:

We drove down to Vegas on February 17th, and took a red eye flight to Orlando Florida. We weren't very excited about having to stay up until 11:45 PM to board our plane! haha We were both dead tired, but it was a lot cheaper to fly at night and not have to stay in a hotel in Orlando. Luckily, we both pretty much slept for the entire flight.

The airport in Orlando is about a 45 minute drive from Port Canaveral where the ship was, so we had to take a shuttle from the airport to the port. We both got really excited when we got close enough to the coast that we could actually see our ship!

We boarded our ship, and then immediately went right to the buffet to gorge ourselves of course:) After lunch, we went and found our room and took a nap.

I'm not going to lie, the first day was really kind of boring and there wasn't much to do considering that we don't drink and we weren't going to waste money that we don't have in the casino. Luckily there was a miniature golf course to entertain us!

We played some putt putt and enjoyed people watching. There were all kinds of crazies on our ship:)

After mini golf, we went to dinner, wandered around the ship for a while and then headed to bed. Yes I know that we are really lame, but one of my favorite parts about being on vacation is not having anything to do and being able to go to bed at 9:00PM if you want to!
