I have really been wanting to blog lately, but there is NOTHING to blog about! Seriously life has been SO boring lately! Steve and I have been doing nothing but working lately and we are really getting bored. I really struggle with this time of the year because I HATE the cold and I feel like there is nothing exciting going on, so then I'm just indoors all the time and that results in me being lazy and getting really depressed. Steve is only taking 2 classes this semester and he doesn't have a ton to do at work so he is bored and starting to go crazy too. He kept saying all week, "Shouldn't it be Friday by now?" haha Seriously though it was the longest week ever, because we really had nothing going on. Isn't it so weird though how the Lord works in mysterious ways? Last week Steve and I seemed to be bugged with each other over every little thing. (Which is bizarre because usually the only time we ever get bugged with each other is when we are in cooped up in the car for a long period of time.) Luckily we are in a married student stake and our stake president is seriously amazing. We had a marriage symposium yesterday where we went to the stake center and listened to speakers advise us on things we can do to make our marriages stronger. It was SO GOOD! We seriously needed it so much! Not because we are having marital problems or anything like that, but because we needed a spiritual boost, and we needed to be humbled. Both of us left the stake center feeling so grateful for the fact that our lives our so boring right now. A boring week simply means that we aren't going through any trials right now and we are both so grateful for that! I also left the symposium with a new motivation to spend more time studying scriptures. I love that the Lord is watching out for us each and every day, and i love that right when we need that spiritual uplifting, we get it!

Kami! Your blog is sweet. It's crazy how every couple seems to go through a mini-stage like that where we just need a spiritual/ humbling kick in the pants. Cody and I have totally experienced it. I'm glad things are going so well with you two! And hey, if you get a minute, check out my blog pomegranatehall.blogspot.com. ;)
