Coupons!

Last night I went to a coupon class at my friend Becky's house and a lady that works for Grocery Smarts instructed us all on how to shop with coupons! It was great! Becky has been trying to teach me to coupon for the past 6 months probably, bless her heart, but I struggle haha. After our class last night I finally felt like I got the hang of it. So I got my coupons together this morning and headed to Smiths and I bought all of this stuff for $23.72!

Not bad right? And get this, before they swiped my Smith's card and my coupons, my total was $59.00! Both Steve and I were pretty impressed with how much we saved with our coupons! haha and I know that I sound pretty lame being so excited about shopping with coupons and all, but when you are as poor as we are, and only going to get poorer when Steve starts Optometry school in August, I can't help but celebrate when I can buy Old Spice deodorant for $0.25 a piece! For my first time, I will count it as a success:)
