It seems like I haven't blogged in forever even though it has only been 2 weeks. We have been really busy though the past couple of weeks. We went to Lake Powell for 3 days a week ago and it was a blast! I forgot my camera though so I need to get the pictures from my sister-in-law Kelli and then I will blog about our weekend at Lake Powell. We have something going on every weekend for the next month, so for this weekend, Pioneer Day, we just wanted to stay home and relax. We have been wanting to buy a bbq grill all summer, but we wanted to wait for the end of the summer to get one on sale. So on Saturday we went to Home Depot and bought a grill for 88 dollars! We were so excited about the grill that we went straight to Walmart and got some burgers and stuff and then headed home to have a bbq!
Steve was so excited to get a grill! He says that cooking stuff on the grill makes him feel more manly! haha:)
Yesterday for the Pioneer Day celebrations we went to the parade with Heidi, Jeter, and Ty. I of course forgot my camera so I don't have any pictures from the parade, but it was pretty fun. I thought the parade was a lot better this year than last year, but they didn't throw a ton of candy so that was kind of lame. I guess I'm just use to the parade in Richfield where they throw tons and tons of candy and the kids fight over every single tootsie roll haha! We went and bought some fireworks after the parade and then Dawn and Tyson came over to have a bbq and do fireworks with us.
Happy Pioneer Day everybody!:)
