Can I just say that I love Lake Powell!! I look forward to going to Lake Powell every year because it really is one of my most favorite places to go:) I was lucky enough to marry into a family that loves Lake Powell just as much as I do, and so we are very lucky to get to go to Lake Powell every summer! We drove down to Bullfrog and spent two nights camping on the beach and it was such a blast. I love that we get to sleep under the stars because they are seriously so beautiful at Lake Powell. The water has risen so much this year it is crazy! I have never seen the lake this full before. The lake has not been this full since 2001, so it is kind of crazy and my in laws are so excited that it is filling back up. We toured around the lake a lot and cruised up some really beautiful canyons. I don't know what it is about the red rock, but I really think it is so beautiful! I forgot my camera, but luckily my sister in law Kelli took hers and took tons of pictures so here are just a few of them.

Steve says that he is getting too old to ride the tube because it makes him so sore, but I still love it even if it does make me sore too! haha

We woke up early both Friday and Saturday mornings to ski and wakeboard and Kirk took this awesome picture of the sunrise:)

I had not wakeboarded for 2 years, so I was pretty terrible at it, but at least I got up and I forgot how fun it was!

Steve, his brother Kirk, and his dad are all really awesome water skiiers! See....look how good Steve is on that thing!

Kelli and I looking pretty hot with our wind blown/lake hair:)

Me, Steve, Kirk, and Kelli playing on the rocks by our camp site.

Isn't he the cutest thing ever? We sure loved playing with Kyden all weekend and he loved the lake! I was kind of surprised because the water was a little chilly, but he loved getting in and swimming.

See that hill behind us? That is a gynormous hill covered in the softest sand I have ever felt! The water has been too low for the past several years to get to the sand hill, so Kirk and Steve were pretty stoked that we could actually get to it this year and play on it. Steve says that when they were little, they would play on that hill for hours and when the water was high enough, the water came right up to the bottom of the hill so that you could run all the way down the hill and just jump in the water. Steve says that this is one of his favorite places at Lake Powell.

That's Steve, Kirk, Kyden, and me up there on the hill. You can't really see us, but this is a good picture to show how big the hill really is.

Steve jumping off of a little cliff.

This is an arch we saw while cruising through a canyon called Davis Gulch.

Steve and I before we jumped. It is pretty sad that I was scared to jump off of that tiny little cliff! haha

We had a blast and luckily we get to go again in a few more weeks! We can't wait! Did I mention that we love Lake Powell?
So glad we got to go. It really was so much fun!!
