St. Louis!

We road tripped up to St. Louis the last weekend of February.
We stopped at this restaurant called Lambert's halfway through the drive.  This restaurant is famous because they serve massive amounts of food and they throw rolls to you.  Seriously the whole time we were eating, there were rolls flying through the air! haha It was pretty great.
We got to St. Louis around 7pm so we decided to just check into our hotel and go swimming.  Ellie was really excited until we actually got in the pool.  As soon as we put her in the cold water, she started to cry and just wanted to get out. haha Can't say I blame her though, because I hate swimming in cold water too!

Saturday morning we met up with the Andersons at the Science Museum.  This place was awesome because it was free!
So much hands on stuff.  Ellie loved it of course!
These pictures are out of order, but we went and rode Lauren's famous carousel after we left the Science Museum. As long as we have known Lauren, she has been telling us about this wonderful carousel in St. Louis. It didn't disappoint! We definitely paid to ride it multiple times:)
Building arches at the Science Museum.
Ellie napped in the car while Steve unburied our car. Seriously though, what's with all of the snow?! I thought it wasn't supposed to snow in the South?
Oh how I miss this beautiful friend of mine. I'm sure I never would have made it through the first 2 years of Optometry School without her!
Our trip was cut a little bit short due to the massive snow storm, so we didn't get to do nearly as much fun stuff in the city as we would have liked, but we had a blast hanging out with the Andersons!
