Back to School

I have to admit I really don't like this time of the year. Even though it is not me that has to go back to school, I don't like that going back to school means that the summer is over:( We have had such a wonderful summer and it just seems like there is never enough time to do everything that you want to before school starts and the weather gets crappy again. But on the bright side of things, this is Steve's final year at SUU and we are both pretty excited about it! We have both grown to really like Cedar City, but we are also really excited to find out where we will be for the next 4 years while Steve goes to Optometry School! He applied to five different schools in five different states and so far the only one he has an interview at is in Tennessee! We are flying out there September 15th for the interview and we both can't wait to go on a little trip! I am so proud of Steve for working so hard in school and for being so ambitious and wanting to be successful in everything that he does. He is going to make the BEST eye doctor one day! Until then, we will enjoy our last year in Cedar. We have a list of things that we want to do in Utah before we leave and have to live out of state for 4 years. So here is to another school year at SUU. I'm sure it will be as fun as the last 2 have been due to our awesome friends and family that we have in Cedar that keep us sane! haha

I made Steve let me get him some new school clothes so that at least one of us could enjoy back to school shopping haha. Is it really sad that the only thing I ever liked about going back to school was getting new clothes to wear to school? Then I made him pose by the door with his pack pack on while I took his picture:)

This picture just cracks me up! Doesn't he look just like a little kid on his first day of kindergarten? haha I love you babe! Good luck with your final year at SUU:)

  1. Haha, I made Tyson take a back to school picture too! He wouldn't go shopping, so the only new thing he got is a hat. Just think, next year, both of us will probably be back-to-school shopping for scrubs for the guys. well, I don't know if Steve would wear scrubs in Op. School. But, it is sad to think that we both really only have one year left here! we better make the most of it...especially if we both don't go to California or Arizona together!
