We took a trip down to the beach in Gulf Shores Alabama during Steve's break from school. It was only about a 6.5 hour car drive and we seriously had a blast! Probably my favorite trip we've been on while living here. We just love the beach so much!!
The beaches on the gulf coast are so beautiful and have the most white sand ever!
We stayed in a house right on the beach with some of our friends from our ward and Ellie was in heaven! She loved waking up and being able to play with her friends all day every day. I did too of course:)

Catching crabs on the beach. I had no idea that all of the crabs come out at night. It was crazy to see how many of them were all over the beach in the dark. We had so much fun hunting them down with our flashlights and buckets!
Ellie wasn't exactly thrilled about the waves and the water, but she loved playing in the sand!

We stopped at A&W to grab some lunch on our drive home. Ellie dipped her fry in some ranch and she got the funniest look on her face and said, "This taste kinda nasty." haha
We had so much fun at the beach and I almost wish we were staying in Mississippi longer so that we could take another trip back down there. Steve keeps reassuring me that we can always plan a trip to California for our next beach vacation:)
