Ellie had her first official eye exam a few weeks back. Yes you should technically have your children's eyes checked for the first time between ages 6 months-1 year. But we slacked off and didn't do it until now. We'll blame that on Steve and the fact that he's been shining lights in her eyes and practicing on her since she was born. Either way, this was the first official exam. Ellie was so excited to see Daddy at school and to be able to sit in his big exam chair. And I think Steve was even more excited than she was! It was pretty cute to see him in action:)
She was a great patient. (As far as 2 year olds go!) I was really surprised at how well she paid attention. I'm sure if it had been anyone else except for her dad, it wouldn't have gone so smoothly. Good thing she loves him so much. She didn't want to leave when he was done, and asked me for days afterwards if we could go back to Daddy's school!
