Conference Weekend

General Conference is simply the best!  I love being able to relax at home all weekend long and do nothing but eat and listen to the prophet and apostles.  I just love those wonderful little old men so much!  And I love that even though our prophet is 88 years old, he is dead on with exactly what is going on in this crazy world, and knows exactly what us saints need to hear.  I felt like so many of the talks were geared towards family, marriage between man and woman, and our roles as men and women in the church.  I love that the talks were so straight forward and didn't leave any room for questioning. "Marriage between a man and a woman is crucial to God's eternal plan. Sin, even if legalized by man, is still sin in the eyes of God."- Russell M. Nelson  

I loved Elder Nelson's talk so much.  These quotes just stuck with me and I'm so grateful for the spiritual upliftment we receive from these great men every 6 months:)

After conference was over, we needed to get some fresh air so we went on a walk with our friends the Smiths in the neighborhood behind our apartment complex.

 Steve and Andrew noticed this HUGE spider and were crazy enough to get close enough to take a picture! You couldn't pay me to get close to that monster.

 Somebody in the neighborhood randomly has these cute little ponies.

Don't mind the babes. They were more interested in each other than looking at the camera. We had such a good weekend and I'm just so grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints:)
