5 months!

Ellie Kay is 5 months old!  She is getting so fun and I swear she learns something new every day.

Ellie's 5 month stats:

*She weighs 14 lbs 3 oz, and is just a little shy of 26 in. long.

*Wears 3-6 month size clothes and size 2 diapers.

*She rolled over back to belly for the first time last Sunday on 9/22. Now that she has learned this new trick, she will NOT lay still! So getting her dressed and changing her diaper are getting a lot more difficult these days.

*She tries to grab anything and everything that she sees in front of her.

*She likes to grab at our noses, lips, eyebrows, and anything else she can reach on our faces while we feed her her bottle!

*Eats 5 ounces every 4 hours. Usually nurses all day and then has a bottle before bedtime.

*LOVES her daddy and laughs at him way more than mom.

*Still loves to put everything in her mouth, especially her hands.

*Starting to like rice cereal now that she has figured out that it is a source of food. 

*Still sleeps pretty well for the most part. Some mornings we hear her wake up and start talking to herself around 5, but she will usually go back to sleep until 6:30 or 7 if we give her a binky.

*She LOVES to be in a room full of people where she can just stare at all of the different faces. And she loves other babies too. She starts bouncing up and down and gets super excited when another baby is face to face with her!

These pictures are already getting more difficult to take! I swear we rearranged Ellie and her elephant at least 7 times because she kept sliding down on her back, or grabbing her elephant. I can only imagine what it will be like in a couple more months when she can crawl! haha We sure do love you Ellie girl:)
