Today Steve and I went over to our friends the Wilcox's to bottle some meat! We had a ward activity 2 weeks ago where our old bishop and his wife taught us how to bottle a few different things. One of the things we learned was how to do meat. I have always thought that bottled meat looks really disgusting and so I have never wanted to do it, but our bishop had some for us to sample and it was delicious! Steve and I especially loved the bottled beef roast because it tastes just like a pot roast cooked in the crock pot! So we decided to become very domesticated and bottle some meat of our own. Julie and I were joking the whole time that we can now consider ourselves true mormon house wives because we know how to bottle! haha But it was a lot of fun and I'm excited to eat our bottled meat.
I know the meat looks really nasty in those bottles, but I promise it tastes delicious:)
