4th of July

We went to Steak and Shake the day before the 4th of July and this little goof loved wearing those dorky hats! haha

We had a good 4th of July.  Of course it didn't even come close to being home in Richfield for my favorite holiday of the year, but we made the most of it and still enjoyed it.  I won't lie though.....Steve's mom sent me a video of my niece Gilly singing at the park and I broke down and started crying.  I was a little emotional all day, but what do you expect?  I've never missed a 4th of July in Richfield before!
Anyways, we went swimming with our friends the Stotts and Smiths that morning, then we went to a BBQ at a family's home from our ward, and then we went to the Redbird's Game with a some more friends.  We really did have a fun day.  It was just different than what we are use to.

 Posing in our patriotic outfits:)
Ellie and Camilla. These 2 just love each other so much. They give each other hugs and kisses every time they see each other, and they start squealing when they spot each other across the room at church! haha They are just so dang cute.

Enjoying the Redbird's game. Somehow we lucked out and got perfect weather on the 4th of July. It was only like 80 degrees so it was perfect for a baseball game!

This was Ellie's face the whole time during the fireworks.  I thought she would get really excited about them, but she didn't care too much.  She just sat there and stared at them.  We did get stuck in the parking garage for about 2 hours after the game was over because Memphis was packed with people watching fireworks all over the city, but Ellie was slap happy by that point because it was about 2.5 hours past her bedtime.  She just hung her head out the window and said hi to everybody that walked by.  So all in all, it was a good day:)
