We went to Provo last Saturday (6/23) for Steve and Kirk's Triathlon at Utah Lake. They both did awesome and I'm so proud of Steve for finishing the race after not even training for it for the past 6 weeks due to having surgery in May. Although it probably wasn't the smartest thing to do a triathlon after not training for 6 weeks, and he definitely wouldn't recommend it to anybody else, Steve says he is glad that he did it.....mostly just because he got to hang out with Kirk I'm sure! ha

Getting out of the water after the swim part of the race. They had to swim a 1/2 mile in the lake and they both said this was by far the worst part of the race. Kirk got out of the water and said, "That was miserable!". Steve got out of the water and said, "I'm never doing this again!" haha I felt so bad for both of them. I would have drown for sure if I would have had to swim 1/2 a mile without a life jacket.
