Christmas Day

Christmas Day was lots of fun.  Emily A. woke us up bright and early at 7am.  Ellie slept until 8, so we opened all of our stuff first with everybody else, and then opened her presents once she woke up.
Steve was pretty excited about the Legos that Santa put in his stocking for him:)

Ellie wasn't really into ripping the wrapping paper. She mostly just liked playing with it and trying to eat it.

She actually was pretty excited about the doll that Grandma Janae gave her. I thought for sure she would just toss it aside and eat some more wrapping paper, but she laughed at it when she realized that it makes noise!

Kirk and Steve both got legos and they spent the whole morning playing with them! Yes, they are both very much still children.
Their Lego creations:)
Christmas morning was pretty chill.  Kelli painted my nails while the boys played with their legos, Ellie napped, and we ate a delicious breakfast of German pancakes and bacon.
Then we headed over to my mom's house in the afternoon to open presents with my family.
Cute little Braylee. I just can't get enough of her!

Ellie liked playing peek-a-boo with this Santa hat.
We spent the afternoon and evening at my parents house hanging out with family, and then headed back to the Blakes.  We played games after the kids went to bed, and stayed up way too late laughing.  I seriously love being around family so much!  We had a wonderful Christmas this year and I'm so grateful that we got to be home in Utah with all of our family.
