7 Months!

I'm almost a week late on blogging about the little one hitting the 7 month mark, but what can you do? We were busy eating lots of delicious food for Thanksgiving, and enjoying Steve's break from school!

Ellie's 7 month stats:

*Weighs 16 lbs 6 oz.

*Not sure on how long she is, because every time a nurse measures her, they get a different measurement. The nurse at the WIC office last week told us that she was 25.5 in. long, but at her 6 month appointment last month, they told us she was just about 26 in. long? So who knows? I'm guessing she is right around 26 in, or maybe just a little longer than that.

*She really hasn't been a very good sleeper the past month or so. The time change threw her all off schedule and she was waking up super early (before 6am) for like 2 weeks. Then she started waking up at like 4am just to play in her crib. We decided the binky was the culprit.  She would go back to sleep as soon as we would put it in her mouth, but would then way up again like an hour later. So no more binky during the night. So far it seems to be working. The past few nights she slept from 8pm to 6-ish and didn't make a peep!

*She has become a drama queen overnight! She has started arching her back and screaming when you take something from her that she wants, but isn't supposed to have, like a cord that is plugged into the wall for example.

*Still loves to laugh at Dad! And Steve will do anything to make her laugh. I love it:)

*Likes to squeal as loud as she can. Our friends say she resembles a pterodactyl haha!

*She jabbers all of the time. She loves to say "dada", but I'm pretty sure she doesn't know what it means yet.

*Rolls all over the floor, and is starting to push herself up into a crawling position. Once she is up on all fours, she just rocks back and forth.

*Has her 2 front teeth on the bottom.

*Wears 3-6 month size clothes, but her pants are starting to get pretty tight on those chubby little legs of hers:)

*Wears size 3 diapers.

*She has tried eating sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, applesauce, bananas, pears and peaches. So far she really only likes to eat sweet potatoes, squash, and applesauce though. She just spits all of the other stuff out.

*She has finally figured out how to take her binky out of her mouth, AND put it back in.

*She flaps her arms up and down, and bounces up and down when she gets excited. It's so cute!

 We couldn't get a good picture of her just sitting next to her elephant. She was too busy trying to eat it the whole time.

 And then when we tried to take the elephant out of her mouth for one last picture, she threw a fit.

We love you so much Ellie girl. Even if you have become a drama queen:)
