The Eye Ball

1/26-Steve's school has a dance every year called the Eye Ball. Clever huh?! haha It is a formal dance that everybody gets dressed up for and goes to enjoy the free booze.  We went to enjoy the people watching of course! We went to dinner with some friends at Olive Garden before the dance and Olive Garden was PACKED!  Because it was so busy, we were there for close to 3 hours!

 By the time we finished eating dinner and drove in to downtown Memphis to go to the dance, Steve's classmates were all completely plastered already. haha Seriously though, the joint wreaked highly of yeast!

I'm pretty positive that Steve and I, and our friends from our ward, were the only sober people in the room. And I'm also pretty positive that we (the wives of the mormon students) were the only ones wearing dresses with sleeves, and that could bend over without exposing everything we've been blessed with.....if you know what I mean.

As the night went on and we watched all of the folks dancing with their beers in hand, Steve and I decided they were all very talented.....well some more than others.  I mean I've got to give them some credit.....especially the very skankily dressed girls.....they can hold a beer in one hand, hold their dress up with the other hand, dance, and kiss a dude, all while being drunk.  Pure talent I'd say.  So all and all, the night was a pretty good time.  I can't make any promises about whether or not we will be in attendance next year though.  I'm kind of partial to being in bed by 10pm.....even on the weekends.  I just don't know that I've got it in me to have another wild night like that again:)
