January in Pictures!

 January is easily my least favorite month of the year, but luckily we had a bunch of stuff going on to keep us busy:)

 Little Man loves his saucer!

 He also loves bath time as long as he isn't hungry or tired!

 Eating oatmeal for the first time on 1/3.  He didn't really know what to do with at first, and he blew the first few bites back out at me! haha But he didn't cry, so I'm calling it a win.  (Ellie started screaming the first time we fed her cereal.)

 We read LOTS of books around here:)

 

 Ellie is constantly asking to hold Parker:)

 She was a princess every single day for about 2 weeks after Christmas! haha I love that she is super girly and wants to be a princess all of the time.  She has told me multiple times that she needs a prince!

 He discovered his toes one night and he thought it was so funny!

 Lazy Saturday mornings with dad are the best:)

 Kaizley came to play with us one Saturday and these girls played princesses for hours!

 We made some copy cat Waffle Luv and oh my heck!  These bad boys were SO good!!

 1/16 - Parker had sweet potatoes for the first time and loved them!  Of course now he won't eat oatmeal though after having the good stuff:)

 Ruston and Alesha and their kids came up and we went to the aquarium.  Ellie loved it!  I think her favorites were the penguins and the sharks.  She's still talking about the penguins.

 Ever since we started Little Man on solids, he wants to eat (or suck on something) every time he sees me eating.

 We finally converted Ellie's crib into a toddler bed on 1/19 and she loves it!  I was terrified that she would just want to run around and never go to bed once we made the switch, but she's done awesome!  She's stays in bed until we go into her room to get her.

 He started whining as soon as he saw me eating an apple, so I gave him a piece to suck on.  He was happy as a clam.  Steve has started calling him "lunch gut" because he seriously wants to eat whatever we are eating! haha

 We went up to hang out with Kirk and Kelli and Ellie had her first haircut on 1/23.  She was terrified and started screaming when we first put her in the chair.  Luckily Kaizley was more than happy to hop up in the chair and show Ellie that there was nothing to be worried about.  After Ellie saw Kaizley do it, she was more than happy to have a turn:)  Silly girl.  I think she thought that it was going to hurt?  Thanks Aunt Kelli for trimming her hair!

 We went to the Provo City Center Temple open house on 1/25 and it was beautiful!  I loved being able to have Ellie there with us and show her everything.  Janae and Larry met us there and went through with us.  Grandpa Larry told Ellie that when she got bigger she do baptisms in the font.  She started to cry and said, "I don't want to get bigger and I don't want to get baptized!" haha
