Ellie was so excited for Grandpa Mckay and Grandma Sheila to come to our house! My c-section was scheduled for July 29th, so it worked out great that my parents came a little bit early so we could do a couple of fun things before the baby came.
We went on a river cruise down the Mississippi River. It was a really hot and sweaty day, but we still had fun and enjoyed being on the river. Especially Ellie because Grandma bought her some ice cream!
We of course had to take Grandma and Grandpa to the pyramid to check out Bass Pro Shop. My dad loved it and we even ate some cat fish while we were there. I'll admit, I was pretty hesitant to try it when my dad ordered it for lunch, but luckily it had enough spices on it that it didn't taste fishy at all.
