Easter

We had such a fun Easter weekend!  Steve didn't have much going on at school on Friday, so we decided we'd just head to the zoo and enjoy the sunshine.  Ellie is finally old enough to recognize that those things we are looking at and showing to her are animals, so she was pretty excited!

She especially liked looking at the elk. Probably because Steve shows her videos of elk calling on youtube all the time:)

The poor thing was pooped after being at the zoo all morning.....also that belly of hers just keeps getting bigger and bigger:)

Saturday we went to our Ward Easter Party.  It was a lot of fun and they had a petting zoo there for all of the kids.  We showed Ellie the lambs and she kept pointing at them and saying "ba".  At least she knows one animal sound! haha 

The Easter Bunny found us Sunday morning and Ellie was pretty excited about what he left for her.

I think she was most excited about her new shoes!

The Easter Bunny even left some really great stuff for Steve and Me;)

I don't know if it was just the spirit of Easter Sunday or what, but church was wonderful.  Our lesson was on Joseph Smith and Jesus Christ in Relief Society and it was just what I needed.  I have a new desire to study and learn all that I can about my Savior, and I am truly grateful for his resurrection and the knowledge I have that He does live.  Happy Easter!
